hmm, i say im average. I came to canada from Hong Kong when i was two... and ive been taking lessons ever since. i can understand, i can talk, and read MOST words. only thing i cant do is write. LMAO
im canto.. so im better in that
in mando.. im getting better

average. Its my second language, I usually get 40+% for school tests? But I just got back my HSK test! Its a Chinese Aptitude test by China and I got a B, 326/400. Yay!  and the people around me say I have improved! |

i think its only an average level for me.
my chinese is good during primary school and it just practically
SLIDE during secondary school.
i'm in a private school and they do provide chinese tuition but belive me,
its useless for me!

My Mandarin has detiorated quite a bit.
I never actually went to a chinese school but I learnt the language for 7 years through tuition.
I have forgotten how to write majority of words. lol
I mainly use Mandarin now to speak in Uni because most of my friends aren't so good in english or they're more comfortable speaking in Mandarin.
I can read, but as for writing, I sometimes forget the strokes. lol.

I can understand chinese well, as I'm a Chinese, and I am able to read the word too, but now I think my standard of English is better than Chinese. hahaa!

Majority of the people I know would say that my Chinese is good, but to me, it's just average.
My Chinese is definitely nothing compared to the Taiwanese..

My chinese is pretty good XD coming from chinese parents, i've pretty much been forced into it  but im grateful now  cuz my honey Jiro can understand me XD i've been learning for as long as i've been going to school sometimes i tend to be more comfortable speaking chinese rather than english  |
