I think i am good in Chinese.... Cause i am a Singaporean... and i speak chinese almost like everyday... haha, and chinese is also 1st lang. like my english, cause i am in higher chinese... But my english is so poor... so pardon me with my words...

i took chinese at uni this semester...just the first level subject la...hehe...so i think my chinese ok la...sufficient for me to sort of understand what the chinese shows are talking about...and of course my spoken and listening is better than writing like most people...haha...
i am much better in cantonese though...

... I voted like the question was asking about Mandarin... which is currently at simple words... I'm trying to learn though. My Cantonese is on variable levels... talking/listening is between average and good, writing/reading is umm... average... When I attended Chinese classes (was born and raised in Canada)... I kinda neglected my studies then... but now that I don't have the classes anymore (in a place with very little Chinese now) I really want to be able to understand more... but at least I can improve slowly by talking with my parents.

Hmmm.. I can say my chinese language is gd bah... When in high sch its 1 of e subject so sure must speak & write.. But now seldom write le.. Abit 4gt le lo.. Speak still okay... If wanna write must use hanyu ping ying tools to help den can.. Hehe...

If some people think speaking and writing Chinese is only average, then I guess I'm way below average I can only speak Mandarin. I do know Ping ying though
