my Chinese level is quite bad. i'm a chinese, but i was born in Indonesia and the only way i could know Chinese was through tuition, plus we didn't talk Chinese there, so even though i'm studying in Singapore now, my Chinese is still pretty bad. i can listen to people talking, but my conversation skill is bad cos i can't seem to say the words in the correct tone or something. my reading's pretty slow too, and i don't understand too advanced Chinese. =X

yeah. i read the subtitle in a movie. they have chinese subtitle. so i read and learn from it. and also lyrics of a song. i did that for a couple of years. now i could read almost every word. except for some harder ones. i cant write well. but i can read and type with a computer. LOL
