Goo Hye-sun thinks Fahrenheit are "more handsome than the Korean F4"
Xin.sg - Monday, January 18
In their renewed role as tourism ambassadors for Taiwan, popular boyband Fahrenheit shot a S$150,000 music video (MV) titled "Touch Your Heart" in which they specially invited Korean actress Goo Hye-sun, 25, from the hit drama series, Boys Over Flowers, to guest star.
In the video, Goo dreams of traveling to Taiwan where she visits the various sights and sounds of the country with the four members of Fahrenheit as her guides.
Both sides met for the first time a few days ago to shoot the video at the Butterfly Pavilion, attracting large groups of fans to the area.
Goo felt surprised and flattered at the overwhelming attention she received from the four idols as they personally fed her with Korean-inspired spring rolls with kimchi fillings, and praised the friendly four for having their unique characteristics.
She shared that they were more humourous and funny than the Korean F4 (the fictional group of four male friends in Boys Over Flowers), as portrayed by Lee Minho, Kim Bum, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Joon.
"Since I'm already here in Taiwan, Fahrenheit is of course more handsome than the Korean F4," she sweetly said.
The MV will broadcast on various Korean TV networks and websites in March.
Fahrenheit is slated to visit Japan and Korea in the coming months for related promotion

Actress Goo Hye Sun who played “Shan Cai” (Geum Jan Di) in the Korean version of “Meteor Garden”, was at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum on the 14th, filming a MV for the Taiwan tourism song “Touch Your Heart” with Taiwan Tourism Ambassadors Fahrenheit. To produce this MV, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau is spending 3 million TWD. That day, the four guys specially prepared Korean-style spring rolls to win her favor. The reporters asked her who is more handsome, Fahrenheit or the Korean F4? She sweetly replied, “Fahrenheit is more handsome!”
Koo Hye Sun, because she became popular in the Korean drama as Geum Jan Di, in order to promote Taiwan tourism, this is the third time she visited Taiwan, the first was to Yilan Commuication Arts Center learning to sing and in Beitou hot springs, then to the Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Butterfly Pavilion to film the Taiwan tourism MV for “Touch Your Heart” with Fahrenheit. The Chinese New Year approaching, Fahrenheit even personally made spring rolls for Hye Sun, very busy teaching her, even adding kimchi Korean-style spring roll and feeding her by hand. She was surrounded by the four handsome guys, making Hye Sun feel deep Taiwan-style friendship.
The MV’s plot follows Hye Sun as she dreams about sightseeing in Taiwan, besides traveling in Yilan and Beitou, she also met “passerby” Wu Chun in the high-speed train, “photographer” Arron Yan in the subway station, “chef” Jiro Wang preparing Taiwanese cuisine in a restaurant, and “bartender” Calvin Chen preparing thingytails for her. This MV is predicted to come out in March of this year on Japanese and Korean TV.
Koo Hye Sun will direct her second movie “Magic”, where the talented 25-year-old will act as well as direct. A few days ago, she was directing her first movie “A Pleasant Helper”, and is now recently filming her second film “Magic”. Is she seeking Fahrenheit to star in it? She said, “They each have their own characteristics, I hope there would be opportunities to collaborate.”
Koo Hye Sun likes to eat “凉圆” (liang yuan) at the Taiwan night markets, so in the MV Fahrenheit will also take her to the Shilin night market to taste “大饼包小饼” (da bing bao xiao bing), and other famous night market snacks.
Two days later, Wu Chun took a flight to Korea for work, by coincidence he was on the same plane as Koo Hye Sun. He frankly stated that they were brought together by fate, “It’s like in the MV where we played tourists brought together by fate. I didn’t expect that in reality we would also be flying the same plane. I recommended to her that she try Taiwanese beef noodle soup and pan-fried oysters. It’s a pity that this visit was so hurried, she didn’t get to eat them.”
Furthermore, Fahrenheit has responded towards the rumors of disbandment, “We’re used to such rumors, so silence is better than speaking. This is a path the group always goes through.” They also emphasized that they will not be jealous of each other, and in August of this year they will release their fourth album, and with their record contract they still have opportunities to come together as a group.
