汪東城去年頻掛病號，年前還因為眼角膜發炎，戴起眼罩成了獨眼龍，今年過年，他特地抽空陪媽媽到龍山寺求健康，其他時間就待在家裡養眼傷，看著自己獨眼龍的模樣，汪東城自我解嘲說：「造型還滿酷的啦，但如果要入鏡，眼罩得要換時髦一點的才行。」

「飛輪海」４個團員裡，汪東城的工作量最大，因為被操得慘，身體也最虛，去年１整年，他隨劇組從北跑到南，各大醫院的急診他也看遍，汪東城苦笑說：「我常被笑說是外強中乾。」所以豬年新春，他陪著媽媽到廟裡拜拜，祈求新的一年要健康順利。

汪東城去年拍「花樣少年少女」，由於外景戲多，身體吃不消，意外得了乾眼症，拍完後，接著海內外的唱片宣傳，同時間又軋拍八大新戲「終極一家」，戲裡，汪東城分飾兩角，必須戴上角膜變色片，因變色片含氧度低，戴的時間又長，角膜才發炎。

it says about

Jiro accompanied his mom to the temple to 'pray' for his eyes to get well and so on.
When he was filming Hana Kimi, he did not eat well and suffered from some illness (about his eyes i think)
