Jay Chou don't really have the 'ancient' face. So it's kinda odd that he is in COTGF.. Didn't watch the movie lah. But when I saw the poster, kinda weird :/ And my friend who watched the movie already said that halfway through his scenes, you will actually realised that they are acting.. My friend says he can't act..
Anyway. I think movies that are comedious and touching are really good. Like CLICK! It's quite funny... Then there are really touching parts. So touching that my friends and I cried.. Even the tough guy of our class cried... It really teaches us some things of life..
And I always suggest watching horror movies when my friends and family and I plan to go and watch a movie. But my friends are forever opposing! Since I was 12 till now eh! I'm turning 15 this year. From Shutter, Ju-On, Ghost Train, The Maid, etc... ALL REJECTED BY MY FRIENDS SIAA! They say they scared get nightmare. Actually, I'm also scared of getting nightmares. But I think horror movies quite fun. But thanks to the opposings, I've never watched a single horror movie before. 'Cos nobody wanna go with me. Unless you count Jurrasic (spelling?) Park 3 as a horror movie.

curse of the golden flower..my friends who've seen it said it was crap. seems interesting, but maybe because it's got that yi mou guy as director, and has talented actors such as chow yun fat and gong li so yeh. mm...jay chou looks weird! haha. masaakiryo: ME TOO! i've NEVER stepped into cinema with a horror movie showing. and i dont plan to too! hahaa.

Another movie that made me cry a lot was I NOT STUPID TOO! I watched it a few times and it never fails to make me cry! It's movies like Click and I Not Stupid Too that are good! 'Cos they are funny and yet teach us some things about life. Meaningful movies ^^ hellie: WHY NOT! It will be fun to watch horror movies what! Like everybody scream together.. HAHAHA! I remember hiding behind my mother when I was watching Jurrasic Park with the family in the cinema. Long time ago, man.

LOL! i'll scream even when it's not scary. coz i'll already be scared knowing it's a scary movie. and when it leads to a scary bit, i'll be like panicking. hahahaa
yeh. agree with you though. i like meaningful movies too! the kids man...so small...but they went through so much. so funny at the end how the beef jerky was like gum. hahaha.

I pretty much like almost any type, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE horror movies... My favourite horror movies are Korean and Japanese horror movies, because even if it doesn't scare me, I am still entertained usually; the idea is either so far-fetched it makes me laugh, or the scenery is so beautiful I can focus on that instead. A lot of the horror movies seem to have a sad sort of element to them, though... which means I sympathize with the "evil spirit" or w/e! lol
Some of my favourites are A Tale of Two Sisters, Lovesick Dead, and One Missed Call.
