i love the way french people speak english tho they have such an awesome accent! lol its really funny and has the really obvious french accent in it.
anyone seen 'along came polly'? cos the french guy speaks exactly like that. its so fun to listen to!

hmm, well i learnt it for 3 years and now ive forgotten most of it.
i dnt think vocabulary is hard but remembering the ending patterns is difficult, the ending of a word changes depending on if its past, present, future or him/her/they/we

i think pronounciation is hard for foreign people... but it's great more and more ppl learn French nowadays =)

i think pronounciation is hard for foreign people... but it's great more and more ppl learn French nowadays =) but actually i heard the number of people choosing to take french is dropping more every year. and in secondary in the UK its not compulsory to take a language anymore, so everyone drops french. more people take spanish. in my year only 15 people are taking french. teacher tried 2 persuade me not to drop it, she sed i was her star pupil lol, but i dropped it anyway. |

does anyone else who speaks more than 1 language difficult sometimes? cos i know hokkien and mandarin, and sometimes wen im speaking, its really weird, but i get stuck!
so if im speaking hokkien, a chinese word will pop up in my head and it wont let me think wot the word is in hokkien. and the same happens the other way around, so i get the two languages mixed up!
this mite sound a bit confusing... lol
is it just me?
used 2 happen wen i took french, but that was just writing id write a french word my mistake instead of in english..its kinda worrying. lol

it happens to me sometime.. but it happens to me when im trying to say something in either cantonese and mandarin but all i can think of is the english and no matter how hard i try i can think of the chinese of it..hahhaa
i think it happens to most bilingual and trilingual ppl..

haha... it happens to me also... i used to speak very well in cantonese when i was a kid... then after i went to primary sch my parents started speaking mandarin and english with me.. shorta forgot how to speak cantonese... but i can understand when i watch hong kong dramas... i live in a place where most ppl speak hokkien... i understand and can only speak a little, but i still prefer if ppl would stop speaking hokkien to me... and although we learn malay here, i cant speak fluent malay... my frens were teasing me that i dun even know how to speak hokkien and malay, and still i wanted to learn korean and japanese...
