yeh cos its only recently that korea has gotten more worldwide recognition they just used to be a little island in the east a long time ago but now their economy's growing so south korea are becoming more significant. yeh south and north korea are considered two separate countries they both dont want anything to do with one another. north korea is much poorer than the south and the people have quite bad lives. i watched some documentary where they have armed guards stand at the border between south and north - some from each country. its so serious loooking! they have to stand in such an uncomfortable position all day with a gun in one hand and a clenched fist..must have pretty bad blood circulation
