hi xlimkl,
for grade 1-2, i took the exam within 1 yr for pratical and written but for grade 3 -5 for the practical and written, i took once a yr as im not skilfull enough
but my piano tr say before those who are expert will took 2 grades for pratical and written in a yr... so up to individual capability in this music skill.

how is the exam taken ? once each year ? `kL it just depends on ur own learning pace really..it might usually take a year i think thats most common for each grade. but its not usually longer than that...cos each grade book only runs for 2 years. after that the grade book will change and have different pieces for the exam so u cnt wait 2 long. |

anyone heard angelis?? new british group produced by simon cowell like he did with il divo.
they have really awesome voices...not usually the type of music i listen 2 but they're really good. all aged between 11-14...one of the girls is filipino
their debut album got to No. 2 in the charts which is quite surprising considering they're a classical group.

hay! Thanks funkindagirl for the file! I was searchin for the chi version, but recently the net speed is  so u watched goong too? Aspire, Waltz from the Swan Lake is my favourite! haha! I love Swan lake itself too... But never had a chance to see the live performances... And Cannon In D, no one will not like that definitely... haha! |

yes i even have waltz from the swan lake as my mobile ringtone... i just love it so much... and Canon in D is definitely the best classical music i've ever heard... I tried to play the piano b4 but i failed...lol

hehe no problem..i kinda think the chinese version is weird. lol i like it better in korean. yeh ive watched goong 1 of the best korean dramas!  ...ive only heard the swan lake one...im not a big fan of classical music. except il divo and angelis |

Cannon in D is jian dian aka classic, no one can deny that!
Funkindagirl, Goong is really nice! I watch a few mths ago, cuz there's Goong fever here in S'pore, thus i went to watch out of curiosity, haha!
I love CaiJing's character, she's so cute and cheery!
do u prefer Yul or Shin? This is like the biggest debate for all who wathed it.. LOL..
And yup, K version is definitely better, original is always better..
