its good to have some ppl that agree with me.. so it means im not alone..hahhaa.. and wat do u guys think of branded clothes.. is branded clothes always the best? or can a $10 top make u look just as good?

Its all depends.
Recently in the news, it said that Singaporeans favourite Brand is LV.
And they conduct a survey and most of the people said that they wanted to have at least an LV item.
So, you see.. branded stuffs do really attract peoples.
But I don't like people who are prejudice.
Just by looking on what they wear and they can know about the character of that person.

like you girls, i also pick out the clothes that suit me. nowadays the society (here) cares about their looks a lot and prejudices exists... which is sad.. many girls follow fashion to attract boys in my school, and it seems like they have succeeded  but of course not all of them are like that. do you mean branded clothes like Gucci etc.? umm... are Esprit, Puma considered as branded clothes where you live ? not all cheaper clothes are bad, i think it's possible to find $10 nice tops. but it's true that sometimes, their quality is not the best. so it depends  |

hmm its good to know wat u guys are thinking..i mean i want pretend to be a very non-fashion pursuer..i mean i have heaps of branded clothes and everything but its not always the lastest fashion must buy...i mean i feel that yes branded clothes can enhnace ur personality but if u over do it..it will also ruin ur own personality..and my meaning of branded is like gucci and lv..i mean esprit and puma is more worldwide based to the point its easier to find in shops..where the other u might only find in their own branded shop..and i also $10 tops can just be as good as them its if u are willing to find it..i mean a mix and match of both can make a person seem more down to earth rather than a snob that wears only brand names...comfortable and confidence is the way to go..

IM not much a follower of fashion..
I jus wear wad i like which i think is nice..
I think we should hv dis kind of thinking too
We should wear wif style but nt following others' "fashion"

Well, to me Puma, Nike and Esprit does not consider as an branded.
I also agree on LV, Prada and Gucci is counted as branded stuffs.
What I don't like is that now celebrities wear those branded clothes and bags.
This lead to us to think that fashion is very important because the celebrities are doing it.

pinkey0jing: i totally agree with u.. i mean most ppl follow the fashion is because they want to follow at their idol is wearing.. i mean even though they have lots of money to buy all those stuff but still they know the world is watching them so they shouldnt go far with the whole branded things..i mean ppl who follow them and want to follow them are even stupider cos they should know that they can never be the same as the stars..

well, many Taiwanese celebrities carry a branded bag...
i think it's normal fans want to look like their idol. they can admire their clothing style, but of course they will never be like them.

Yea.. I remember hearing Ella said in a Taiwan programme that she wanted herself to look best at this moment because there are her fans and people in this world looking at them because they are celebrities. But I don't mean that we normal people cannot look best now. There are so many ways that we can make ourself by looking best. Looking best does not means wearing those branded clothes.. Well, sometimes I feel that not all branded clothes looked that nice...

yeh i agree... not all branded clothes are nice.. and ppl wearing them not necessarily look nice in them either.. so to look nice.. its wearing something that ur comfortable with and not force urself to wear something that u think is in fashion or someone else is wearing
