One week ago, only young females¡¯ fans would know who WuZun, who TangYuZhe was, from idol drama ¡°Hana-Kimi.¡± But after the big news about them on the entertainment covers this week, we are sure that they are no stranger to anyone anymore.

Bootleg idol
The first time seeing WuZun was in a Taiwanese idol magazine, and at that time I thought ¡°Ah, bootleg LeeHom!¡± The past November, WuZun came to Hong Kong as a member of ¡°Fahrenheit¡± and when I saw him in real life, I thought: ¡°Wow! Because of a friend¡¯s words, WuZun went to Singapore for modeling, and within a month he went to Taiwan for jobs. Maybe it was made to be, as WuZun was in Taiwan for just about 2 week when he was discovered by a producer of idol dramas. ¡°He gave me his name card as asked me to go for casting. At that time I was very nervous because he said that Simon Yam and Ariel Lin were also going to take part in the drama. Wow! That drama was quite big.¡± After casting, the producers decided to use WuZun, and even said that he is very much similar to the character. ¡°He thought that I was a cool and cold person! Afterwards I saw the script, come on! Totally different! But I already signed the contract; the only way was to learn how to act it out. Luckily the director was very nice, he taught me a lot.¡±

Brunei personality
When that idol drama was released, WuZun became popular immediately. ¡°Hana-Kimi¡± is his second drama work, allowing him to sweep many female¡¯s hearts in Hong Kong. Last time WuZun came to Hong Kong was as ¡°Fahrenheit,¡± and was here for a musical concert. Although then they already attracted over few hundreds of fans, him and other member Calvin could still stroll he streets of Hong Kong without being noticed. This time, he could hardly move an inch in the airport. Want to shop? No way! Do you think you lost your freedom? He changes channel again and answers in Cantonese. ¡°Yes, before I could go here and go there, now I can¡¯t. But I still think it¡¯s very happy.¡± WuZun thinks that entering this circle, he wants people to get to know him. Being able to achieve that, he is very happy. ¡°Even though I lost my freedom, it¡¯s worth it.¡±

There is an artist who is known for their attitude and bad manners. Not only is the artist like that, the manager is just about the same. They think that because they are famous, they are better then others. There was one time when a reporter finished interviewing the artist, the artist immediately left and went to talk to their crew, not looking or caring for the reporter. Of course, there are also other artists that are very nice and close, just like friends. WuZun has encountered a few. ¡°The first time I filmed was with Simon Yam and Ariel Lin, the second time was with Ella. These 3 people are people whom I admire very much and are a great influence on me. No matter how popular they are, they treat everyone the same, no barriers. I think I should learn from them.¡± Other then being influenced by them, WuZun¡¯s Brunei personality also has an impact. ¡°Brunei people are very simple. Brunei people don't get to see and experience a lot, so their thoughts aren¡¯t that complicated. Everyone there is quite simple.¡±

1 heart, 3 uses
WuZun graduated from Australia¡¯s RMIT with a business degree, then returned to Brunei and once worked for a big company. Afterwards he took on the liking of working out, so he decided to open his own gym, learning how to do business himself. Although he has become an artist, he did not give up his business back in Brunei as he often keeps on contact with his other partners. Filming, singing, business; one heart, three uses.

Starting as a singer, WuZun didn't really have any idea about singing. ¡°We don¡¯t have karaoke in Brunei, and very few people sing. So when I first heard about forming ¡°Fahrenheit,¡± I wasn¡¯t very sure. It was too quick, but everyone said it could be a chance to learn. I think as humans we need to learn more things, doesn't matter if we do it good or not good, knowing that I tried my best, the final outcome doesn¡¯t matter. The most important is we improve each day.¡±

Being in Hong Kong these few days, WuZun loves to speak in Cantonese. Whenever he meets up with a reporter, he would speak Cantonese. Because his Cantonese is learned from a friend when studying in Australia, he only knows a bit and guesses the rest. ¡°A lot is from when I was little and I watched Hong Kong dramas and listening to Cantonese songs. (Speaking Cantonese again!) I watch Hong Kong dramas everyday. I don't watch dubbed Hong Kong dramas, I only watch one with Cantonese, as that gives off a special feeling. I remember a drama with Carol DoDo Cheng and a guy. (Was it Dayo Wong? War of the Genders?) Yes! There was a phrase in the drama, but I forgot it. (¡°So what?¡±) Yeah, ¡°so what?¡±¡± WuZun¡¯s Cantonese is much stronger then what people see on TV.

WuZun says that he doesn't know what kind of girls he would like because it all depends on feel. On the other hand, TangYuZhe knows what kind of girls he likes. ¡°I like girls with pretty eyes, and girls who love to laugh. Because I am a bit cool, so I like girls who laugh and smile, I would have good feelings towards them. In terms on personality, cannot be fake and have too many schemes. I like straightforward, being able to say what is on our minds. I hope to have a simple love relationship, nothing too crazy and complicated, too tiring! I also don't like girls who love to party and play.¡±

What TangYuZhe wants the most right now is to be in a relationship, be able to find a girl that he can share his love and life with. Because he hasn't dated for such a long time, people are starting to mistake him and Jiro Wang (another male lead in ¡°Hana-Kimi¡±) as having an ambiguous relationship. ¡°Me and DaDong (Jiro¡¯s nickname) are soon to be said as a pair. Ever since ¡°KO One,¡± ¡°Hana-Kimi,¡± and now ¡°KO One Family,¡± me and him are always together. Because neither of us have girlfriends right now, everyone asks us if we are gay. Many people think that we are gay! Plus when we were filming ¡°Hana-Kimi,¡± we shared a room. But I really want to find a girlfriend, don¡¯t mistaken me!¡± Being so clear and open, no one should question your sexual preference anymore!

Hate filming
TangYuZhe¡¯s story about entering the circle is similar to WuZun¡¯s: both started out as models then began filming idol dramas. The only difference is WuZun became popular after his first drama, but not only did YuZhe not become known and popular after his first drama, ¡°Nine Balls,¡± he began to hate acting and filming. ¡°Because I didn't know how to act, and my acting was bad! It was unbearable to watch. I thought to myself, ¡°so ugly!¡± Back then I hated filming, and I was asking myself why I was doing such weird things. But I¡¯m a person who doesn't like to lose, do for my second drama, I did research and watched films on how my character should be. After that, I began to enjoy acting and filming.¡±

Before entering the circle, he was a student and had a part-time job. Back then, many model agencies have asked him to sign with them, but he always thought that they were pranks and lies, until he found the company he is with now. ¡°Because they are a TV channel so I believed them, then I went for a casting.¡± Before entering the entertainment industry, TangYuZhe thought that it would be fun, very happy, having high hopes, but after entering, he found it to be totally different. ¡°It¡¯s not that it¡¯s not happy, and it¡¯s fun, but the stress is too much. Having to take in and understand many things, the outside people won¡¯t understand. People just see the happy side, seeing us wear nice clothes, nice packaging, but they don't know the things that we deal with behind all that.¡±

Protect himself
In ¡°Hana-Kimi,¡± TangYuZhe plays a character who tries to act cool and tough, not wanting people to see his weak and soft side, a playboy. TangYuZhe says that the character has some similarities to him. ¡°Ever since little I would tend to protect myself. I didn't have confidence, reserved, and didn't talk much. Too protect myself; I made my outer appearance seem cool. It wasn't until I entered this circle that I began to change because it is hard to get along with others if you have that kind of personality. Plus many others have taught me many things, allowing me to slowly open up.¡±

During the promotion of ¡°Hana-Kimi,¡± TangYuZhe sang his new song ¡°You¡¯re the one I still love.¡± This idol is starting to begin his singing career as a singer. ¡°Actually entering this circle, the thing I wanted to do most is sing and dance, but I began acting first. I told my company about it, so they planned that I release my solo first.¡± During his clear performance on stage, he was quite good. What he nervous? ¡°I wasn¡¯t nervous, but why did the host use this tactic? At first I didn't want to sing it without music, but WuZun was beside me and kept on asking ¡°Are you ready?¡± so I had no choice but to go with it. I just think everyone was playing me!¡± Him and WuZun aren¡¯t afraid to let others see the real them behind cameras.

Not even staying in Hong Kong for more then 36 hours, WuZun and TangYuZhe¡¯s schedule is packed jammed and kept in secret. They have attended 2 functions, accepted 3 interviews, and did 3 magazine interviews. Plus the many fans following them wherever they go, their dream of walking around is shattered.
Not being able to walk around, the 2 can only find joy in their work. They took photos of fans and chatted with the reporters, asking what good foods there are in Hong Kong.
Seeing the sad them, the reporter asked them what foods they want, and they will bring them tomorrow. Upon hearing about food, the two¡¯s eyes lit up, especially WuZun. They asked if they were joking, but why would we lie?
The next morning, when WuZun saw the reporter, his first words were not ¡°morning,¡± but rather ¡°where is my walnut paste?¡±
Not only did the reporter figure out that WuZun loves to eat, he can eat nonstop as well.
