WOW. u're so lucky! able to get the sch scholarship shows dat u're capable. in my opinion, i tink u shld go. well of course, nt fer the sake of frh, but as an experience. if its me, i'll choose to go.but well, its yr own decision.

if you're worry abt yr dad, maybe u could ask fer help from yr family member, or maybe even teacher. maybe u can ask yr teacher to tell yr dad dat its a gd chance fer u to learn more things abroad and can ask yr teacher to explain to yr dad and get to know his worries.

afterall, nt everyone get such chance, so tink wisely.. gd luck!!

Hmmm... I think I decide to try to go!! ^_^ Thankies everyone for responding! ^_^ I was talking to my mom more about this, and she said she'll help me. She says she'll help me lie to him by lying that my university requires students to study abroad for a semester to graduate! ^o^ lol Cuz logic doesn't work with my Dad..., so my mom came up with this plan. Hopefully it will work. ^_^;;

I also know how hard the decision was..Wad u have listed all out, it's the same as my bf..He is same as u also cannot bear to leave me and his family..But wad's there I got to do? That is the qns I told him..U can't expected me to leave together with u, right? I always told him:

Don't let my suggestion or ideas affected ur decision..Since u alread decided to go aboard to studies than go ahead..It's not everyone have the chances of going aboard to studies..If u miss it and waste it than dun blame urself of not having fulfill this dream of urs..

So The Lone Moon, dun let our suggestion or ideas affected ur decision..Since the school had given $500 to u as scholarship than go ahead and fulfill this dream of urs..Dun miss wad the school had given to u..I reali dun want u to regret it and even miss it..Like I say, "Its not everyone have the chances of going aboard to studies"


P/S: Telling lie to ur bf is no good..Just tell the truth to him and see wad he react..If he decided let u go than go..If he decided not to let u go, just tell him wad are ur plans and ur thoughts..

Oh actually, my bf even told me to go. ^o^;;;;;;;;; LOL! He's the first person i asked, and even though I'm really reluctant to go, he's the one to urge me to go. O.O; lol

Well, i wouldn't know the final outcome of how my dad would respond until my mom tells him, and she's not going to ask until maybe the end of this year. But for now, it's really a matter if I'm willing to post-pone my graduation. I could graduate from EVERYTHING (including graduate school) in 5 years w/o going, but it'll take 6 years if I do go. Six years seems like a long time since for some medical fields it's takes like 8 years . *sigh*

Actually, the school hasn't given the scholarship yet. I didn't even apply for the study abroad program yet because I must first take a few classes to fulfill the requirements before I can apply, and the scholarship is not guareenteed. The workers only say students are likely to get the scholarship. O.O But even if I don't get the scholarship, it's still not that expensive since I have financial aid.

But most importantly right now.... OMIGAWD! My friend suddenly says she's not sure if she can go!!! She's a HUGE HUGE HUGE factor that my mom agrees to me going to study abroad. My mom doesn't want me to be alone, but if my friend isn't going (we know each other for over 10 years), then my mom might not let me go. Ooooh, I hope she can go! She's worried she can't go because she thinks she's failing some classes, so she might have to stay behind to retake them and she don't want to postpone her graduation since she still needs to go to pharmacy school afterwards. ~_~;;

Gargh! After I've decided the bite the bullet and really do it despite the inconveniences, she's backing out? Eeek-ness! I hope she do passes her classes.
