I didn't know where to post this.. but I have a question to those in KL, Malaysia. I'm going to KL around next week and I was wondering if I will be able to buy Taiwan Drama DVD's such as HANA KIMI with either english or malay subtitles included. Is it available there..? and Are there any specific shops that sells this? I'll be around bukit bintang mostly though, if that helps.. I really want to get all the DVD's I can. I already have the DVD's but without subtitles which is okay.. but I prefer to have subtitles cause my chinese is like my 3rd language and I have to really concentrate to understand hehe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Reply here or PM me. Thank you in advance

Hi Hi! Erm, there are those Taiwanese Dramas being sold here in DVDs...most of them have subtitles but MOST of them are malay subtitles. But I did buy the HanaKimi DVD from Speedy in Midvalley Megamall and it had Malay, English, Chinese...and I think Tamil subs. I hardly go to Bukit Bintang so I'm not sure which shops there sell it. OWH! I know there's a Speedy in Lot 10... Hope this helps... But basically they do sell them dvds here and they have subs. Hope u'll be able to find what u want!

Cheaper to get it at Hong Kong Video in Sungei Wang. It's on the 1st floor next to Esquire Kitchen Restaurant. It you want the DVDs cheaper, look around the annexe on the Lower Ground floor of Sungei Wang. There are a few shops selling the DVDs cheaper than the regular market rate & they ARE originals.
If you want, you can PM me & I can get it for you but you're gonna have to arrange with me in advance as I go there about once a week.

Not so sure about the stuffs but you can look around Sungei Wang for it. There're some shops that specialise in bringing Taiwan stuff in. Try the top floor of Sungei Wang. But if you're in Ipoh, there're a couple of books shops near near the Old part of town where you can find the products. I even found some great posters while I was in Ipoh. Maybe I'll get more the next time I go there.
About the pirated DVDs, sjaney, I suggest you ask around Sungei Wang as they do have them for sale still. Just go around the annexe areas & you'll find quite a few shops although I don't think we should be talking about this! LOL! Anyways, the prices of the originals you can get in Sungei Wang is about 30% to 35% cheaper than the ongoing market rate, so maybe you'd like to think about getting the originals instead. Try saving up for it & if you need help getting the stuff, give me a PM & I"ll try to help you get it cheaper as I know a guy there who gives me quite a good discount.
