just wondering if anyone ordered and paid for the hoodies from "http://myidolsworld.blogspot.com"  cause the blogsite is no longer available and the gmail address is not valid?? i ordered and paid for the hoodie in Apr '09 from the above site but until now, i have not received the hoodie, and when i asked the the owner of the blogsite, she said the hoodies was lost in the mail (she bought the hoodies from someone else and when the other person mail the hoodies to her, it got lost in the mail). So i asked her, what does it mean? does it mean that we will not be getting the hoodies we paid for, she said yes. so i asked her to refund the money, because i have already paid for it and since she cannot give me the hoodie that i paid for, she should refund me the money. But she refuse to give me an answer about the refund. Then today, her email address is cancelled and the blogsite is shut down!!! just wondering if this problem happened to anyone else here that ordered the hoodie from her (joanne ng aka lovejiro) or am i the only person with this problem?? How could she just shut down the blogsite and cancel her email address... without any notice and without solving the problem.. by shutting down her blogsite and canceling her email address and not solving the problem, i feel very strongly that she is trying to avoid refunding the money (although $48 is not a very big amount and i could take it as a lesson and not trust people next time, but what i feel is that she was trying to cheat people of their money) and i hate being taken for a ride. I've made this case known to my lawyer and am going to make a police report about this. because i feel that what she is doing is wrong. but before i make a report, i want to know if anyone else is having the same problem... thanks |

The disclaimer about the shipping part was added only after this problem happened, it wasnt there before.. because i'm not the only one.. now, in total there are four other gals who also feel that they have been cheated by her and this is only those that i have been able to contact.
She had closed down her blog previously and also closed her email account. But after me and a few other people who bought from her, told her that her actions irresponsible and that by doing so, it give the impression that she out to cheat people, because by closing her blog and email, she makes herself uncontactable. So it gives everyone the impression that she is out to cheat us. So i think because of that, she reopened her blog.
Because i wasnt the only one, another gal (nickname:shheenaa) from another forum (http://dongundefeated.proboards.com) site told me "i sms-ed her this afternoon about whether we will get a refund for the hoodie but when i came online at night to check her website again it was gone."
And another person (nickname:Shan) also from (http://dongundefeated.proboards.com) said "joanne is not even sure the supplier has actually got the items or that the supplier is cheating her. The supplier have not managed to produce any evidence that she mailed out the items to Joanne She also dont have her supplier's contact details and her supplier's also MIA."
When i smsed joanne about the refund, she said she will not refund us the money, because the supplier is not refunding her the money. But the thing is we ordered the item from her and since she cannot give us the item, shouldn't she refund us the money. Because she says. if she refund us the money that means she has to bear the loss..
I mean even if i go out to shopping centres or other places to buy things and i pay money to order something. If in the end the item is not available, they will refund us the money. but she says that there is no such thing.
i just feel that if she got cheated by her supplier, its between her and the supplier isnt it? (i do feel sad for her that she got cheated). We ordered and paid her for the items, now that she cannot give us the items (regardless of the reason) she could not fulfill her part, she should just refund us the money and then go to the police to report that she got cheated. But she cannot be bothered.
When i smsed her to tell her that i and other members will be going to report this to the police, she replied me in one of her sms:
"if you wan to make things worst (by reporting to the police) go ahead, at least i push her (the supplier), us still able to get half back. if not u get none..
Another gal (nickname: HuiMin<3) also from (http://dongundefeated.proboards.com): "what does she meant by get half back?
if we file a police report on her, its to her disadvantage isn't it? cos it will affect her reputation. i don't know what she's thinking man.
but she ought to refund us back the money. If the supplier cheated her, its between her and the supplier. We entrusted the money to her to get the things and since she failed to do so, she ought to be responsible for it."
I'm not trying to be unreasonable or to blow things out of proportion. But one has to be responsible for their own actions.
an example: a class treasurer collects money from the class to buy notes for the class. But the class treasurer lost the notes after buying it. Who should be responsible? My answer is "the class treasurer should be responsible. So the class treasurer should use her own money to buy the notes again for the class" What do you gals think??
But joanne says that the whole class including the class treasurer should all be responsible, because the class trusted the treasurer with the money, so the whole class should pay the money again for the notes. But the thing is, the treasurer was responsible for the money and the notes.. isnt it? why should the class pay money again for something they didnt lost??

Hey mjt80! I ordered the hoodie from myidolsworld. She refunded me $24 but i am still nt happy about it. I am quite disappointed i did not receive it. It is very weird. She mentioned it gt lost within singpost, this shows that the hoodies did arrive in singapore. And she wanted a mass meet-up yet cancelled it due to her sudden camp. This is really puzzled.
